We donated books to the Subsidized School “Hermann Gmeiner”, Founder of the SOS Village, within the Ethics and Integrity framework contest “A book for my school”, organized by the National Customs Directorate (DNA).
With the support of the entire company, the batch of texts was collected by customs administration officials from our port. This campaign is an initiative undertaken by the current administration of the National Customs Directorate which is within the framework of the institution’s social responsibility policy.
Luis Tadeo López Ayala, our administrator of the Caacupe-me Customs, donated the batch of books, composed of 77 dictionaries in Spanish, 41 Guaraní-Spanish practical dictionaries, 32 dictionaries of synonyms and antonyms and 50 storybooks, among others.
Lic. Rocío Amarilla de Rolón, the Director of the aforementioned institution thanked all persons involved for the donation of the texts, which will be used in the training process of the students at the school.
